What:

With the emergence and rapid spread of COVID-19 and national security implications, the Department of Defense mobilized to combat the global health crisis in several significant ways. The National Museum of Health and Medicine was charged with collecting documents and artifacts, as well as interviewed key participants in the Defense Health Agency to create a historical record of what came to be known as Operation Warp Speed. Join NMHM Historical Collections Manager Alan Hawk to learn about the collecting process and ongoing efforts to document this unique response to a pandemic.
