Join NMHM for a book talk with Dr. Wendy Dean as she discusses moral injury in medicine. For half a century, health care work distress has been described as burnout, but what if that is an incomplete diagnosis? Drawing from her book, new research, and frontline wisdom, Dr. Dean makes a case for a new understanding of medicine's challenges, why they matter to all of us, who will be patients one day, and what we can do about them.
FREE! Open to the public. No RSVP required.
