Bugapalooza at NMHM

Bugapalooza Event Header

Bugapalooza is a family-friendly annual event hosted by the National Museum of Health and Medicine. The event helps raise awareness of the research dedicated to the prevention and treatment of bug-borne illness, as well as showcase the benefits and dangers of certain bugs.

During Bugapalooza, we host educational partners, to include the Military Health System, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, Armed Forces Pest Management Board, and others, who engage audiences with stations that focus on bug species and safety, and topics related to entomological research.
